Siegel & O’Leary LLP is a law firm dedicated to the representation of insurance companies and their insureds. The two partners, Jeffrey Siegel and Kevin O’Leary, have more than 50 years combined experience representing various insurance companies and their insureds in all aspects of litigation and arbitration.

Jeff was a partner with a mid-size Long Island insurance defense law firm for more than twenty (20) years before establishing Siegel & O’Leary LLP. His practice included conducting trials, the management of litigation involving matters of no-fault defense, personal injury, premises liability, vehicular negligence, construction law, coverage disputes, and litigating claims involving suspected fraud. He also managed and oversaw the firm’s Workers’ Compensation and trial departments.
Jeff has secured multiple jury verdicts in all five boroughs of New York City, as well as on Long Island. Additionally, he has conducted well over five hundred trials in all areas of defense litigation and has lectured on the issues of no-fault trials and how the court system handles same before the Brooklyn and Queens Bar Associations and numerous insurance companies.His prior experience also includes having been associated with another large insurance defense firm and a metropolitan personal injury/medical malpractice litigation firm.
Jeff has been admitted to practice in New York since 1991. He is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. He received his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1990, and his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Literature was conferred upon him from the State University of New York, College at Oneonta in 1986.

Prior to establishing Siegel & O’Leary LLP, Kevin was a partner with a mid-size Long Island insurance defense law firm for twenty (20) years, where he was responsible for all aspects of representing insurance companies, including obtaining jury verdicts in favor of those companies and their insureds in all five boroughs of New York City and Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester Counties.
At his prior law firm, Kevin was responsible for supervising various attorneys and paralegals who represented one of the largest insurance companies in the country. Kevin also has conducted more than 1,000 examinations under oath and depositions, participated in hundreds of framed issue hearings and uninsured/underinsured motorist arbitrations and represented various insurance companies in hundreds of no-fault arbitrations. He is a frequent lecturer to insurance companies and private and governmental agencies on various issues relating to insurance coverage and litigation.
Kevin has been admitted to practice in New York since 1995. He received his Juris Doctor Degree from St. John’s University School of Law in 1994 and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Broadcast Journalism, cum laude, from Syracuse University in 1990.
